From the growing need to promote Pernambuco culture also among the new generations, in 2011 the small version of Galo da Madrugada was created, the Pinto da Madrugada. The Pinto da Madrugada parade takes place on Carnival Tuesdays, with concentration from 8:30 am at Praça Sérgio Loreto, in front of the Galo da Madrugada headquarters, in the district of São José, the central area of Recife.
The bloco, which is open to the public, is an opportunity for children to enjoy the traditional street carnival of Pernambuco. Chocolate Clown, Orquestra Mirim do Galo da Madrugada, Nena Queiroga, Barca Maluka and superhero characters from Cia. do Riso were the attractions of the last edition of the party. Recreational activities such as face painting and bladder sculptures are also part of the program.
An electric trio runs from Avenida Sul Avenue to Dantas Barreto Avenue. Then it returns to the starting point. The children can also enjoy the revelry in little trains, with capacity for 80 people. For this, it is necessary to register in advance at the headquarters of Galo da Madrugada and donate a can of milk or two packets of powdered milk. The starting dates for registration are announced on our social networks.
All donations collected on the train are directed to the social projects of the communities surrounding the headquarters of Galo da Madrugada, such as the neighborhoods of Coque and Coelhos.
